#1 is the first issue of my zine, DISCONCERTING, and concentrates on my altered perspective on life the past year. It also includes a page or two on a concert I attended, as well as random digital and hand-drawn collages of my art, plus a section on my favourite poems including one by myself. There was quite a bit of cut and pasting going on, multiple layers and random cut-outs as well as things I used to keep from years ago, like stickers and tickets, before photocopying them zine-style. The bulk of my background text pages were old readings and photocopies of my film history class notes.
Zine is 1/4-sized, 32 pages, photocopied insides. The cover is made of 275gsm MF Kraft Paper, with a hand-cut window.
